To catch black drum, you'll need a heavy-duty fishing rod and reel, as well as a supply of fresh baitfish. Live or dead shrimp, crabs, and mullet are all good choices. Drum typically feed on the bottom, so you'll need to use a sinker to get your bait down to where the fish are.
